Deadline Extended to 4/24 for WADL (Web Archiving and Digital Libraries) 2017

We are writing to encourage you to submit to
WADL (Web Archiving and Digital Libraries) 2017
    http://fox.cs.vt.edu/wadl2017.html

This is the leading event to explore research and practice regarding Web (and social media) archiving, along with subsequent analysis, processing, and utilization (including searching, browsing, visualization, reuse).

Researchers, librarians, archivists, social scientists, and others with interest are encouraged to submit.

We are looking for panel, presentation, and poster/demo (these with a lightning talk too) submissions.
The webpage above gives details on these options, and a link to the Easy Chair site.
Only 1 page is required, including contact and supporting information.

Approved submissions can be reworked to appear in the IEEE Technical Committee on Digital Libraries Bulletin (see http://www.ieee-tcdl.org/mediawiki/TCDL/index.php/IEEE-TCDL).
Longer works may lead to a publication in the International Journal on Digital Libraries; a special issue on this topic appeared early this year (see several of the papers online at http://link.springer.com/journal/799/onlineFirst/page/1).

Previous WADL events were held in 2013, 2015, and 2016.
As in previous years this will be held at the end of JCDL 2017, on June 22-23.
The ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries will be in Toronto, Canada (http://2017.jcdl.org/).

Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks for your time and attention!

Sincerely,

Edward A. Fox, Zhiwu Xie, Martin Klein
Workshop Co-chairs

PS Please pass this invitation along to any others you believe might be interested.
