[Sigmetrics] Reminder: CfP Accelerated Academy: Power, Evaluation and Metrics in Academic Life

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the second international conference on ‘*The 
Accelerated Academy: Power, Evaluation and Metrics in Academic Life’. *

**The conference aims to draw together research and reflections on 
recent accelerations toward metric-based forms of evaluation and explore 
consequences this may hold for research and academic life more 
generally. Confirmed keynote speakers include: Michael Power (LSE), 
Ulrike Felt (Univ. Vienna), and Peter Dahler-Larsen (Univ. Copenhagen).

The event will be held in Leiden, the Netherlands, 30th Nov. - 2 
December 2016.

Deadline for submitting a presentation abstract is 31 August 2016 (for

Registration is free for all participants, although space is limited.
