new routines for relating cited and citing patents in the USPTO database

Dear colleagues, 

 

In collaboration with others, I now made more systematically routines
available at http://www.leydesdorff.net/software/uspatents that allow in
addition to geographical mapping
<http://www.leydesdorff.net/software/patentmaps/index.htm>  and mapping in
terms of Intern. Patent Classifications <http://www.leydesdorff.net/ipcmaps>
to download the cited and citing patents in the USPTO domain (that is, since
1975).

 

Please, feel free to feedback with suggestions for improvements.
