CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Closing Date for Abstract Submission Extended to 28 November 2008
Due to popular request, the Programme Organising Committee has extended the
closing date for Abstract submissions to Friday 28 November 2008. The
on-line submission system will be open to receive abstracts till 5.00 pm GMT
on the day.
PLENARY SESSIONS ANNOUNCED
The following Plenary Sessions will be held at the Triple Helix VII
Conference:
Wednesday 17 June 2009: Ministerial Session
Science and Technology and Education Ministers from the EU, Asia Pacific,
and Africa will share their experiences of government-industry-university
interactions for wealth creation, competitiveness and sustainability.
Thursday 18 June 2009: Plenary Session by ECIU Rectors
Principals, Vice Chancellors and Rectors from EU universities, particularly
from the European Consortium of Innovative Universities, will describe their
perspectives on developing Triple Helix related activities.
Friday 19 June 2009: Plenary Session led by Key Industry Players
This will include presentations on industry exemplars on linking with
universities, building on government policies, to innovate and improve
products, processes and service.
Triple Helix VII is an important occasion offering a major platform for the
exchange of ideas and experiences - academics will share their insights into
the dynamics of collaboration; business and industry will review their plans
and indicate future directions; and for government decision makers, will
explore new avenues for supporting developments, analysing innovation
frameworks and their impact on national and regional economies.
