JOURNAL OF INFORMETRICS IS A SOURCE JOURNAL

 



 

Last month, Thomson Scientific recognized the new Elsevier journal "Journal
of Informetrics" as a source journal. The recognition starts from Volume 1
of the journal (year 2007). Journal of Informetrics will soon be added to
the Web of Science.

 

It will also receive a 2008 impact factor which will be published in the
2009 Journal Citation Reports (JCR). This impact factor will be based on
citations in 2008 to articles in the journal in 2007, the starting year.

 

Journal of Informetrics covers the wide field of informetrics and wants to
attract good papers containing models and/or basic data sets. For a more
detailed description of its scope we refer to www.elsevier.com/locate/joi 

 

Articles can be submitted through the Elsevier Editorial System (EES)
www.ees.elsevier.com/joi in which you can register as an author.
