[Sigmet-officers] ASIST - Dr. Eugene Garfield Tribute Panel

Dear officers,

First, I apologize for my recent silence. It’s been a bit hectic on my end and I haven’t sent out what I had intended in a timely manner and I apologize. I plan to try to tackle everything this week, so you’ll be receiving more emails from me soon.

Second, Kristene Unsworth contacted me (see below) and asked if we wanted to discuss a panel at ASIST for Dr. Eugene Garfield? Is this something we would like to do (in addition to the article for the bulletin)? I noticed that several tributes have been made to Dr. Garfield already, but I think it would be nice if we did something as well given his involvement in our area of expertise.



So I have an email from Irene stating that SIGMET is doing something for the Bulletin in June.

But nothing about an panel proposal for the Annual Meeting. Is this still something you want to discuss?
