[Sigmet-officers] workshop CFP

Dear all,

thank you Cassidy for preparing the CfP.

I am fine with the dates since I think they give authors and us enough time
to submit and review the abstracts.

Regarding the program committee: what about stating that the review will be
carried out by the SIGs officers and members?

In the CfP: Do we really need posters? Since both posters and papers must
submit the same amount of text and we won't publish the abstracts formally,
I would rather explicitly state in the CfP that abstracts (for
presentations) could also present work in progress which we then can discuss
in the workshop.

Best

Isabella

Betreff: [Sigmet-officers] workshop CFP

Dear All:

Given that many of you expressed interest in working on the CFP, I am
emailing all officers.

Please see attached the workshop CFP. This is the same as last year, with
slight modifications.

A few questions:

1. Would you like to see any modifications to the text of the call?

2. Are the dates acceptable?

3. Should we convene a program/review committee before sending out the CFP
and list them here?

I welcome any and all comments/changes.
Cassidy
