Dear Jonathan,

I am on the publisher of Research Trends (editor-in-chief: Henk Moed), and we have recently relaunched our webpage (see www.researchtrends.com).

A little while ago you called on the SIGMETRICS listserv for “anyone wishing to participate in turning SIG/MET into a thriving group for the development and networking of all those interested in the measurement of information” to drop you a line. I am writing to you in that spirit now, to see how we can synergise between the community that SIG/MET represents and the magazine that we are publishing to further the development of our common fields of interest.

Would you be willing to explore with us some ways in which we can work together for the benefit of our community as a whole?

Thanks and best wishes,
Andrew
