Thanks Dietmar for pointing this out.  Have you had feedback from Dick regarding your suggestion?  Another angle is for me to email Jan Hatzakos asking her whether/how the renewal notice can be amended to include a checkbox for SIG/MET.

Hi folks,

I just received my renewal notice for ASIST. I noticed on the print form that there isn't a checkbox to join SIG/MET. It occurred to me that this could reduce the SIG's income if members using the paper form are unable to indicate their interest in joining MET. I did notice, however, that the online renewal does list MET as an option. It may be a good idea to send a message to the SIGMETRICS and ISSI lists to encourage people interested in joining the SIG to write in MET for their SIG membership if they decide to renew using the print form--if that's okay with ASIST HQ. I'm copying Dick Hill on this message for feedback.
