Dear Henk,

It was pleasant to have spoken with with you at ISSI.  Thank you very much for agreeing to a second meeting with me,  to discuss with Cassidy the possibility of SIG/MET and Research Trends working together for our mutual benefit.

Thanks for agreeing that the next step is for me to consult the SIG/MET officers and send you SIG/MET’s draft proposal on how we would like to work with Research Trends.  I have asked Cassidy to send me her account of our meeting with you and, as soon as receive this, with the help of the other SIG/MET offices will press on with forming the draft proposal.  I am sorry I cannot expedite manners; the delay in sending you our proposal does not reflect any lack of keenness on my behalf.

Thanks very much for your continued interest in SIG/MET.
Jonathan.
