[Sigmet-officers] Debate

Dear All,
Having Loet Leydesdorff and Tony Van Raan in a debate is not the best idea.
There was a rather bitter exchange between them at the Leiden S&T Conference
this September. It was rather unpleasant for the the conference
participants.
Also we should decide whether we are planning a Webinar or a panel for the
next meeting. The Crown indicator and the new indicator developed in Leiden
is used for university rankings. This is a highly controversial issue with
quite a number of rankings being around. We could include this topic in the
webinar, if you think that discussing indicators is too narrow.
Best regards,
Judit
