[Sigmet-officers] Is there a problem with the sigmet-officers list

The decision is a matter of judgement and I think you have a good feel for Web-site design.  I suggest that unless someone on this list comes up with any clear-cut preferences, when you have the time you produce the site that you think is appropriate.  

I agree with Judit that the layout is excellent.

Yes, I was wondering about the home page myself.  One possibility is that the home page is also the about page.  Alternatively, we could have them separate, and the home page could have some other content.  I'm wary about duplicating news items, if we also have a news box, but the home page could have a welcome or a shorter introduction statement.  Thoughts?
