[Sigmet-officers] Is there a problem with the sigmet-officers list

Yes, I was wondering about the home page myself.  One possibility is that
the home page is also the about page.  Alternatively, we could have them
separate, and the home page could have some other content.  I'm wary about
duplicating news items, if we also have a news box, but the home page could
have a welcome or a shorter introduction statement.  Thoughts?
