[Sigia-l] Anyone suggest a better global list?

All,

I would like to hear some thoughts around "seals of approval" for Web sites. For example: an organization or vendor reviews your site and then awards you with an icon that symbolizes the sites Security or Usability. Do users respect these or ignore them? If you use them, do you place them at the bottom or top of the page? Which are the most trusted?

Thanks

Thanks Paola for saying this. I myself have been feeling uncomfortable
by the discussion.

There's a lot of reasons why discussion lists ebb and flow. It's nice
to find a scapegoat, but it's all hypothesis and conjecture.

If we want this community to thrive within the list, then we have to
have discussions that engage the readership. What should we do to
start that up again?
