Calling UX Freelancers!
Are you available to interview next week?
Are you available to start in the second week of January?
Now, the budget isnt great, but then the project isnt demanding neither.
For a weeks work (6days) you will spend the first 2-3 days carrying out
card-sorting exercises with 10-15 participants and use the last 2-3 days
creating a taxonomy which will be presented back to the team.
The project however, concerns a major issue. The client is a consumer
charity who would like to make changes to its website. This is primarily
based on changes being made to consumer and travel rights so the content on
this area of the site needs to be revised. However this will involve
proposing new sub sections under new headings.
The issue is that they want to avoid having too many sub-sections which
dilute the offering but yet having enough sub-sections so that users can
access the information they need easily. The taxonomy therefore needs to
solve this problem so as to create balance...
The key skill here is someone who is capable of carrying out card-sorting
exercises and is able to present this back to the stakeholders.
The rate is not great at £250 per day but it is certainly worth considering
if you could do with a weeks work in January with a very well known and
respected consumer charity organisation...
If you are available, can interview next week and can do a weeks work then
