Friends,
EuroIA invites your participation to this premier European event on
Information Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark, September 25-26 2009.
Submissions are now open for presentations and panels at:
http://www.euroia.org
And because we know from past experience that over 80% of our
submissions roll in during the last 24-hours of the call, were only
giving you about a week and a half to get your ideas down on paper.
Sorry, we're on a tight schedule here, too, due to extended European
vacation periods.
We have a hard deadline May 17, midnight CET. And as you know from past
years, there will be no extensions.
But no matter whether you're selected for the programme or not, we hope
to see you in Wonderful Copenhagen, for two incredible days of
presentations, panels, and networking with information architects from
across Europe and around the world. And we're working on providing an
exciting menu of four half-day precons on the 24th, so stay tuned for
our latest developments.
This year we will explore the theme of Beyond Structure. Thats
because websites have advanced to a new level. Any random page can be
accessed from Google and must serve as a guidepost. Pages themselves
often consist of information from many sources. Even the concept of a
page has changed thanks to more sophisticated backend technologies. In
other words, today's information architects have moved far beyond the
traditional sitemap and into a new and exciting era of web development.
So, got something to say? Say it in Copenhagen.
Vel mødt!
