ROKKAN, a New York City-based interactive agency, is looking for a Junior
and a Senior Information Architect, as well as freelancers to work on a
project-by-project basis.  As an IA, you will be responsible for creating
userflows, use cases, competitive analyses, and wireframes, among other
deliverables.

 

The ideal candidate should be able to juggle apples, chainsaws, and crystal
wineglasses simultaneously (that's a metaphor, by the way-candidates should
also know what metaphors are) and remember to say "please" and "thank you"
when appropriate.

 

As well as impeccable manners, candidates should possess the following
traits/qualifications:

 

-At least a year's experience in the area of Information Architecture for
Junior applicants, 3+ years for Senior applicants

-Excellent written and verbal communication

-Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

-Ability work under tight deadlines on multiple projects

-Strong understanding of the Web and Web technology

-Understanding of core principles of usability and Information Architecture

-Proficiency in Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
