[Sigia-l] Any guidelines/design patterns etc.. on when a downloadable format ( such as pdf/word/ppt) is appropriate compared to creating a webpage?

I've just finished an FAQ section for our intranet and internet and have
used only web pages. Fortunately the answers to the FAQs are unlikely to
change drastically in the near future and I thought it was important to
connect the user with the FAQ they were looking for as seamlessly as
possible. Remember each user will probably be only looking for the answer
to one question each time they access the FAQ section, so I tried to make
it as easy as possible.

Find some sites where the FAQs are easy to access and some where they have
made it more difficult through the use of downloads. If such a
demonstration doesn't work perhaps the use of a large blunt object might
be required.....

Good luck

>I see a whole of lot of issues with that.
