I've had good experiences using Skype (with the ability to call phones) +

Subject: [Iai-Members] recording devices
Hi,
I have a consulting project where I'm going to be conducting a number of
interviews via telephone and I'd like to be able to record the calls. In the
past recording calls has been an option through the telephone service of the
company I worked with but now I am doing this project as a solo consultant
so it appears that I'm going to need to invest in some kind of call
recording device and/or digital voice recorder. (I definitely want to be
able to have the interviews as MP3 files as opposed to dealing with cassette
tapes of any kind.) I'm wondering if others out there have experience with
this and could point me to (or away from) any specific devices. (Needless to
say, I'm hoping to keep the budget as lean as possible while still getting
relatively clear recordings.)
Thanks!
