Please. The rest of the planet has moved on from Lynx and Gopher. Get over
it.

OK, I let you read this again:

Notice where it says, a single flag bit (IF A USER SO CHOOSES) could easily
IGNORE the CSS part altogether and just let him look at its text-only glory.

But for those WHO WANT IT, that single bit flag again, can offer the option
of presentation style as the content provider intended it. Absolutely no new
technology or learning curve, pure CSS, as simple as a doorknob.

Data/info without presentation is nothing. Virtually all RSS readers come
with multiple local styles to begin with. So it all comes down to, do you
want to see it in some random (and perhaps inappropriate) style or the one
feed provider prefers you see it in? WITH A CHOICE for either.

Now, I could go on here giving you a sanctimonious lecture regarding the
virtues of choice, but I think enough posturing has already been done.
