Is advance search a feature necessary on all websites? When do you draw
the line to include or not the advance search form on a site?

 

Major search engines (google, yahoo, live) and major e-commerce sites
(ebay) offer advance search. But other informational sites (ie.
del.icio.us, wikipedia and facebook) don't offer 'advanced search'.

 

Do you guys always include 'advance search' on your designs? Or do you
use only a basic keyword search form and then rely on the search engine
to display the correct results?... I would love to hear your comments on
this.
