Oh OK. I'd not seen the Apple patent. A super-wide trackpad as
multi-touch input. I see. Wonder how the screen/pad separation would
feel? Maybe you'd just get used to it.

Interesting comment on the bottom of that article:

"Apple's user testing will probably decide whether this sees the light
of day."

Do they do user testing for that reason?
