Thanks SO much for your advice. I am new to working at such a large
company, so am still navigating the system. I did contact someone from
our corporate records group, who has provided me with guidance. I'm sure
there will be more minutae to winnow through, so your suggestions about
how to approach specific material will come in handy.

Document and content management policies have been mentioned, but
overarching that is records management. So, what you may find useful is
to explore the retention and disposal schedules already in place for the
organisation's records. Any organisation of a good size should have a
records manager who is responsible for this aspect of business
documentation.
