Donna's point is probably on target, when looking at your business
process case. I'm sure you can simplify it, but that doesn't mean it
will be simple.
But back to John Maeda's book.
The quote you were sent is somewhere towards the end. It is meant to
be a fall back.
I don't know if it is rule 10, but it is definitely at the end and is
meant to be something like, After you've tried all the other rules
written before this one you may need to concede that some things may
never be simple.
