Hi Folks,

Our major client needs an analyst with, among other things, some senior
(what else?) IA skills:

Analyst Role & Responsibilities: Improve the Conceptual Integrity and
Strategic Direction of the Information Architecture at a 24x7, energy
trading institution. 

Ideal background is someone who has actual experience in driving data
architecture via the development of data flow and system diagrams.

This person could also be labeled a system analyst......however, this is
not a project management or coding position - this is an analyst
position. 

A strong grounding in database theory and understanding is strongly
desired. Experience with documenting data flows via Visio or a similar
tools is a must.

Own the delivery of IT Architecture Life Cycle Plans that include the
capture and documentation of Business Initiatives, IT Capabilities
mapped to those initiatives, stakeholder interviews, current and target
state conceptual diagrams including systems and inputs and outputs,
strategic road maps, 5 Year Cost and Staffing Plan, applicable business
and IT trends, enablers and continuous improvement opportunities across
business, data, technical, security, application domain areas. 

Must Have Experience\Skills: Very, Very Strong in Data Analysis and Data
Architecture; MS Office including Visio and MS project; must be able to
write SQL and the ability to read Java and Javascript code a must; hands
on Experience with Data and Application Integration Tools; Top Notch
Customer Relationship, Interview and Consulting skills Preferred Skills:
Experience implementing SOA, 5 + years of Hands On Application
Development experience; Experience in financial or energy trading
