I first saw Photosynth demoed at a conference last year. I played with
it a bit in the break and was left thinking that it's certainly
innovative, but was somewhat frustrated by the "keyhole" nature of the
view you get. I realise it would be less impressive (and presumably
rather confusing) if they simply showed you the whole 3D view in one go
without the Pointillist stuff, but if you want to see St Mark's
Square...
