Bridgeline is an interactive agency that has been operating in NYC for about 12 years. We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial team that supports a variety of customers in the New York market.

Senior Information Architect (New York, NY)
Bridgeline is seeking a senior information architect to create innovative, usable Web solutions for our customers
Essential Job Functions:
➢ Work with customers to understand their business models and goals and helps define strategy, content, and features for design of their web sites
➢ Analyze audiences and their information and functional needs
➢ Researches and analyzes industry trends and competitor sites and strategies
➢ Define site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built - form, function, metaphor, navigation and interface, interaction, and visual design.
➢ Document solution with goal definition, audience segmentation, usage scenarios, competitive analysis, sitemaps, page level wire-frames, usage diagrams, and content outlines.
➢ Conduct ongoing usability testing and assessment
➢ Seeks additional revenue opportunities by always being aware of scope changes, upgrade opportunities within existing engagements, or new opportunities with in a customer’s organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
➢ 3 years experience directly related to developing information architecture for complex web solutions. Professional services industry experience is strongly preferred
➢ Strong knowledge of site design, usability principles, issues and techniques
➢ Ability to analyze customer needs and define strategies for meeting them
➢ Organization of large bodies of information into a logical and easy to use presentation layer
➢ Usability test design and implementation
➢ Strong presentation and negotiation skills
➢ Strong client facing skills and experience in managing conflicts with clients
➢ Exceptional communication(verbal and written) and organization skills
➢ Understanding of e-business architectures, strategies, and business models and commercial experience successfully completing the IA that supports those models.
➢ 3 years of experience in Information Architecture position
➢ Minimally a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
➢ Degree work in human factors, information design, industrial design or related area strongly preferred
