In fairness, my experience is that Cooper uses it to illustrate broad

Thus providing an excellent example of how codemonkeys and IAs/IxDs  
SHOULD interact.

A good knowledge of the other's skillset with a healthy respect for  
their ability to actually DO it when compared oneself goes a long way  
towards working together well.

Activities that are less "creative" or "design" driven do provide an  
example though. Mundane bridges such as the Second Narrows in  
Vancouver are drawn first then built by crews of highly skilled  
steelworkers.

Residential houses would rarely fall into this category. Homeowners  
always change their mind when they see things being built.
