Hmm, don't know if I'd go that far but the canonical example on this is the
Jobs' statement: "I'm as proud of what we don't do as I am of what we do."
Mind you this is not stuff that folks at Apple thought might be fun to
sketch out and play with. These are things they fully prototype, develop and
even patent, just shy of unveiling them publicly. At most companies they
would be star products of innovation. At Apple, they are sacrificed at the
altar of overall business strategy.
