Job Summary

The Art Director leads Creative Design teams and is responsible for
understanding, planning, and leading the delivery of leading-edge Web
solutions and software.  The Art Director is responsible for ensuring that
the quality of design work produced by specific project teams is of the
highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

•	Provide art direction, mentorship, coaching to designers and sr. designers
on specific projects ensuring high quality design concepts.
•	Develop creative brief by gathering business and design requirements thru
client and team meetings.
•	Develop and frame creative concepts according to creative brief
requirements.
•	Present comps to clients and team members; back up and defend design
rational.
•	Play a leadership role in developing client relationships and new business 
•	Assume the role of the client’s trusted advisor
•	Manage and execute final concept thru completion of project
•	Identify tools, templates, and techniques that evolve existing approaches
for the larger Creative Design community at Sapient.
Job Requirements:

•	Must provide url/portfolio 
•	Bachelor's degree preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction,
Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design
Planning; Graphic Design; Communications. 
•	5+ years of industry experience 
•	Candidates must be well-versed in user-centered design methods and
techniques
•	Proficient to expert in: Illustrator, Photoshop  
•	Excellent verbal and written skills
•	Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously 
•	Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
•	Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred
•	Experience in offline or various mediums a plus
