Derek, could you please clarify?  If you could start by explaining my
idea of what IA is, that would be great.  Then if you could name or
explain the particular dogma that I'm evidently subservient to, that
piece of information would help me go about my day in a more informed
manner.

Dogma: there's something I can add to my resume.
