It was well intended, and is needed. This list should long since have  
moved to a moderated model. It's ratio is too poor.

Quantity is not a guarantee of quality.

It's certainly on a tipping point. (I hate using that phrase since  
that stupid book by Malcolm Gladwell was published.)
