That obviously is my bias, as I have been one for 15 years. It doesn't mean
that all consultants are groupthink-averse, of course. What really matters
is the structure of the workplace and ultimately its culture. It's a waste
of time to think that a culture that rewards groupthink can brainstorm its
way out of mediocrity. I'm sure there's a difference between Apple and, say,
Creative, and lack of brainstorming at the latter ain't it.
