i've been trying to do just that here in los angeles. hourly/salaries
are ridiculously low and then companies wonder why they can't find
any mid-senior ia's.
one issue is that most companies don't do any due diligence to
understand their needs and what type of creative they need.
second there is still the perception by business owners and product
managers that ia's are there to "document" the interface they've
created.
maybe we'd all be taken seriously if we had mbas?
