The Opportunity:

A beginning to mid-level Information Architect to work on a team  
developing a large scale consumer website. The position is  
responsible for defining user requirements, creating wireframes and  
HTML mockups, designing interaction flow, and liaising with a small  
team of developers, both on site and remote.

The Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of web experience,  
including 1 to 3 years in the field as an Information Architect.
• 	In-depth knowledge and experience of human factors, heuristics,  
HCI and user interface design principles for interactive media
•	User-focused interaction design skills
• 	Skilled at finding and solving usability issues through expert  
evaluation and user testing
• 	Understanding of the key issues of designing interactions for  
sales-driven web sites
•	Translating business requirements into workable solutions
•	Familiarity with creating IA deliverables such as flow diagrams,  
site maps, wireframes and functional requirement documents
• 	Strong writing skills for creating user interface specifications
•	Strong grounding in technology issues, especially large-scale  
relational databases
• 	Work within a team environment

The ideal candidate should also have experience with the following  
tools and technologies:
•	Acrobat
•	Photoshop
•	Dreamweaver
•	Visio and/or Omnigraffle
•	Subversion
•	HTML
•	CSS
•	AJAX
