It's not Simple Dublin Core, but will a Qualified DC example help? See 
http://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/ . Some capitalization mistakes are being 
corrected, and aside from that I believe it's all valid and meets specs. 
I made the application profile, and used the DC and DCTERMS namespaces. 
The most important field is DC.subject, which we use to drive 
thesaurus-aware searches (which are in the final stages of 
implementation).  To make sub-collections in the search engine we may need 
to add other elements in our own namespace.
