Hi Malahat,

I know that others will disagree, but most IA projects have an
immersion/analysis phase (or many of them) where BA skills are a plus.

BA methodologies may or may not be appropriate to this work.

It makes sense that the BA-analogue in the IA process may well be called a user
researcher in some places.

So to sum up my scatterisms: BAs are not IAs, but there are some BA skills that
may be applicable in IA work.
