On Mac OS X, where the notion of Smart Search/Filters/Rules/Folders (first
popularized by iTunes and later by the Finder) has been around for years.
Most Mac RSS readers have provided ways of auto slicing and dicing incoming
messages for a long time via Smart Feeds.

What's the difference here? Both your email and RSS reader periodically
poll. You can make the delta small, but that doesn't quite make it "real
time".
