My client in Boca Raton is seeking a Manager of Information Architecture.
This is a hands on position that will lead 2 other people and requires
Project Management or leadership experience. Relocation assistance is
available.
Manager of Information Architecture
As the Manager of Information Architect, you will be responsible for leading
2 other I/A's, gathering both business and end user needs and translating
them into functional requirements for a variety of internal and web-based
projects. You will author the documentation serving as the blueprint for
site development, manage content, conduct usability testing and provide
day-to-day support for interactive projects. A key part of your
responsibility lies in facilitating the creation of, and executing on, the
vision by which the front-end of the site will interact with the underlying
systems. You will work closely with both the technology and visual design
teams in order to ensure the realization of this vision. You will also help
to create and maintain our ongoing documentation methodology.
Example deliverables produced during the attainment of these objectives
include: Site maps, wire frames, user scenarios and personas, workflow
diagrams, content and feature matrices and navigation structures.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience working as an Information Architect / Interaction
Designer / User Interface Designer.
2+ years of Project Management or Project Leadership experience
Experience developing content requirements and use cases for applications.
Strong business sense, excellent organizational and logical skills and
detail orientation.
A demonstrated ability to work well in highly, collaborative,
cross-functional teams.
Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills.
Experience with Content Management Systems a plus.
