[Sigia-l] Site maps for web apps, vs for content sites?

Hi Mark
I worked on an interactive TV application not so long ago so understand what
you mean by a button map - mine was a matrix with each button for each
'view' covered. This was done using excel and was accompanied by a flow
diagram / application map where each line was marked by button icons
(limited by those on the Sky (open TV) set top box in this case. Was very
useful as you point out.
Does show that there is no one solution for documenting functionality.
The site map on it's side is where the hirachy of the site instead of going
form top to bottom (or top and to the right in my case) starts at the left
(I presume with most of use being westerners) and then goes down site levels
as you move to the right. So a top level section page (like 'products' for
example) will reside in the second colomn rather than the usual second row.
Cheers
