Readers of the Illuminatus! books may be familiar with the theory that
over-categorisation is a disease - that it gets in the way of a true
understanding of the underlying nature of reality. I can't reconcile
this with the need to operate within a system that rewards accurate
categorisation - do you have any thoughts on this? I'm a big fan of
looking at a problem holistically, and I believe that this goes a long
way towards seeing the issues in context, but I am not sure that it is
ideal.
