Precisely. It's a land grab.

It's not *all* about expertise.

How many programmers do *you* know who are outstanding software architects,
byte code optimizers, compiler experts, re-factoring masters, etc? Get real.

In case you're missing it, we are (at least I am) not simply describing the
software world as we find it, but, one hopes, describing its more productive
future. This is an advocacy.
