Oh right, you mean that movement where everyone is trying to own every piece 
of design because it attaches nice little buzzwords to what they do and makes 
them more marketable?  Having overlapping knowledge in two areas does not 
make you an expert those areas.  How many information architects do *you* 
know who are outstanding visual artists and usability specialists who can 
code their own software and manage market trends while balancing a spoon on 
their nose?  

Tell me again why a psychologist needs to be an expert in software 
architecture and market economics,  I'm new to this list..
