User Experience Architect

EDS Consulting Services is searching for User
Experience Architects who want to work on variety of
challenging projects for blue-chip and Fortune 500
client organizations.

problem-solving and reconciling priorities, this is

offers the opportunity to grow by mentoring others or
by taking on larger, more complex applications,
portals or Web sites.  You will learn the latest in
new usability technologies. Passion for 
the user-centered design process, the ability to
facilitate and work one-on-one with clients is all
part of the package. 

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following
backgrounds:

•	Formal education and training in user-centered
design methodologies and usability 
•	5+ years experience in information architecture,
usability engineering or user experience consulting
•	5+ years of business experience with multiple
clients and demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse
teams
•	Proficient in requirements gathering and usability
best practices such as A/B testing, card sorting,
contextual inquiry, usability metrics interpretation
etc.
•	3+ years experience in usability testing 
•	Ability to craft solutions, proposals and present to
prospective clients
•	Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•	Demonstrated ability to articulate the value of
user-centric designs
•	Understanding of HTML, Javascript, and other web
page design technologies
•	Proficient in Visio and/or Axure, MS Office for
wireframing
•	Good technical understanding of application and
systems development is desired
•	Provide work samples of wireframes and other
user-centered design deliverables 
•	Ability to travel domestically as needed and at
times could average 50%*

*While our consulting practice is nationwide, we have
multiple long-term engagements in the Dallas and
Detroit areas.
