EDS’s Consulting Services group is searching for User
Experience Specialists who want to work on variety of
challenging projects for blue-chip and Fortune 500
client organizations.   

If you thrive on creative problem-solving and
translating user needs to quality interface design,
this is the positive environment for you.  This
position offers the opportunity to learn and grow by
working with colleagues on large, complex
applications, portals or Web sites. You learn the
latest in new usability technologies and expand your
business and technical skills.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following
backgrounds:

•	Formal education and training in user-centered
design methodologies and usability or comparable
equivalent experience
•	3+ years experience in information architecture,
usability engineering or user experience consulting
•	3+ years of business experience with multiple
clients and demonstrated ability to work with
technical and design teams
•	Skilled in gathering user requirements for user
experience deliverables
•	Knowledge of  usability best practices
•	Familiarity in with usability testing techniques
•	Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•	Understanding of HTML, Javascript, and other web
page design technologies 
Proficient in Visio and/or Axure, MS Office
•	Provide work samples of wireframes and other
user-centered design deliverables
•	Ability to travel domestically as needed and at
times could average 50%*

*While our consulting practice is nationwide, we have
multiple long-term engagements in the Dallas and
Detroit areas.
