Prady, I had a recent discussion about this exact issue with a
colleague at IBM who is working on a next-gen employee directory that
integrates dynamic content. I don't think there is an easy answer -
any system not completely controlled by HR can in theory be "gamed" -
but a balance of "official" content from HR, user-generated content,
and content from external sources like Google will probably provide
the best results in most cases.
