we haven't met the majority of our clients in person -- our small  
company has been around for 9 years.

one client that my company has been doing work for since 1998 is only  
10 miles away but we've never met anyone in person.

email and fax and vpn and phone or conference calls are all we've  
used to communicate with most of our clients.

sometimes i wonder if our clients think we're avatars.
