I've had two clients that I've never met face-to-face: I'm in
Vancouver, they were in Las Vegas and South Carolina. Projects lasted
4 months and 8 months respectively. We used Instant Messaging and
occasional phone calls, but email comprised the bulk of our
communication/collaboration.

I've also had a client in London, England for going on 3 years
now...but he did insist on flying out to meet me to initiate the
relationship.
