Hi all,

Sorry about the wide distribution. I'll send a reminder as the event
draws nearer.

Seattle IA Summit 2006 Redux
Wednesday, April 19th, 7:00-10:00
University of Washington Information School
Mary Gates Hall, Room 420

Missed the IA Summit in Vancouver last month? Made it but want to
find out what happened in all those sessions you didn't get to?
Interested in Information Architecture and just want to talk to people
about what the heck it is, anyway?

Come to an informal gathering of all those interested in Information
Architecture at the University of Washington Information School on
Wednesday, April 19th, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.

•	If you were at the summit come prepared to give a one minute summary
of what you took away (or left behind?). If you weren't, come with
your questions and thoughts, ideas and interests.

•	Free food and drink provided by the iSchool's Master of Science in
Information Management Program. Energy and enthusiasm provided by
you.

•	No experience or previous knowledge necessary, just an interest in
Information Architecture and a willingness to talk about it.

•	Bring your friends and others who might be interested in IA; share
the knowledge.

Several people have expressed interest in starting a local chapter of
IAI to carry on the conversation. Those interested will be
discussing this further during the evening and thinking about what's
next to make this happen. If you're interested be sure to talk to
Dave Ballantine while you're at the event.

Mary Gates Hall is located on the University of Washington Campus,
near the Central Plaza Parking Garage (Red Square). Map here:

streets nearby.

Room 420 is on the 4th floor of Mary Gates Hall, in the NW corner of
the building, through double glass doors at the end of the hallway.
