this is starting to sound like an early 90's cyberpunk "life is no

Now that you mention amazon, what interests me in this thread is 
anything that comes close to autocategorising and autoindexing (using 
"auto" in the "autoerotic" sense) - the potential for accessing this 
body of information and making money out of it with amazon referrals et 
al. is mind-boggling. "You own books by these 200 authors? here is the 
list of what they have also written, and here are other books on 
mountaineering and goat wrestling based on our assessment of your profile".
